COOLANT MIXER INSTRUCTION & DESCRIPTION SHEET

DESCRIPTION

1. Water inlet (standard garden hose fitting)
2. Water ball valve open / shut-off (open completely while using it)
3. Coolant concentration adjustment with ball valve or proportional valve
4. 20 Liters pail adapter (2 models) or drum adapter
5. Concentrate aspiration tube
6. One-way valve and counter weight
(counter weight only for vertical mount on pail)
7. Mixer body
8. Mixed emulsion outlet hose

CHARACTERISTICS

1. *Flow rate:  Approx. 4.5 gallon/min
2. *Concentration setting:  from 0 to 20%
3. Assembly:  Horizontal mount on pail or drum
4. Required water pressure:  min. 25psi (dynamic)
  max. 100psi (static)

Note: the flow rate and concentration vary slightly depending on water pressure.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Screw together the aspiration tube with the concentration adjustment ball valve, prior to do that make sure that the pail adapter is on the tube.
2. Insert the adapter into the pail together with the mixer assembled on 1
3. Plug a hose on the water inlet valve, make sure the connections not leaking
4. Put a pail at the coolant exhaust tube

Note: To prevent any leak, assemble all tubes and fittings with Teflon tape


 

INSTRUCTION OF USE

1. Open water valve completely
2. Open carefully concentration adjustment valve
3. Check coolant concentration with a refractometer
4. Adjust concentration again if necessary
5. After having filled up the pail or your machine with coolant, close the concentrate adjustment valve, then close the water valve
6. For safety, disconnect water hose from mixer unless it is a permanent assembly
